sitting that 1.75inch higher off the stock height springs

This equals a change in caster angles of right on 3⁰.

Toyota factory spec for caster is 2⁰ +/- 1⁰.

If yours rolled out of the factory with 2⁰ caster, you could now have negative caster.
Negative caster is a significant contributor to wandering steering.
Any looseness in other components becomes more apparent in driving feel.

Positive caster keeps a bit of tension on all the steering joints. This keeps minor slack or free play from causing wandering.

Good point. The so called "stock" springs do provide some lift. However, he said Georg Esterer's shop "set up" his truck so it seems unlikely they overlooked the caster issue.

s***e! How did that leg injury happen?

Let us know what you learn from the shop.
Slipped on water from the dogs bowl in the kitchen wearing bald croc shoes... As I went down my right knee spun almost all the way around and my knee lifted 3- 4 inches off my leg without breaking the skin, but it did tear all 4 quadriceps and the 2 top tendons... Needless to say it touched quite a bit... Ambulance came , then surgery , phys. Therapy, etc ... ...this was a little while ago , but pretty much makes it impossible to kneel on that knee and or try to get under my cruiser ... I'm also 64 and retired , so not a spring chicken any more either ... And other injuries, falling off a bridge as a iron workers decades ago, etc ... But like my 80 and it's fun for now lite wheeling and camping and going where the quiet is loud with my wife ...

I'll see about the shop soon ...but I wonder if even with all the bushings done , will I get rid of the 1 inch play ?

To add one more thing the bilt4me. List, a worn out steering box will also cause lose or sloppy steering feel.

Yes, except he just installed a new 105 series box.
