i agree....i had 33x12 with stock backspacing and i felt like that was tippy...once i went to the 13.5's with 2 inch backspacing it is way more stable on the trail...i couldnt imagaine a 10.5 tire on the trail..a 12 or 12.5 inch with stock backspaced rims will fit fine under the wheel wells
thanks i was not sure

Sixtys guy, did you modify the mounts for your ARB bumper, it matches the headlight and everything nicely.

or is that a Stout bumper. i bet that thing's got some kangaroo fur on it somewhere.

Hey sl33py. The shackles are 2" longer than standard. The wheels are 15x8. Not sure what brand or offset, just what the tyre shop ordered in for me.

No it's not an ARB bar, and no kangaroo fur on it either! I bought it off a guy who was wrecking an FJ60. It looks a lot like an older TJM. I modified the mounts to lift it up 2". The bottom of the bar is level with the bottom of the chassis rail now.I haven't done anything with the rear at the moment. I have a plan that will incorporate a spare wheel carrier, but haven't got around to making it yet.

ARB in Aus are now making a bar that will fit a Warn Highmount and has adjustable mounts so as to cater for a bodylift. I'm not sure how those mounts work, but it seems like a good idea.
