On the 64 FJ45 I have an issue with the height of the passenger wiper motor that will not me install the sun visor. The passenger motor sits too low as you can see from the pictures. The bolts for each motor are on the passenger side with the wires feeding in from the drivers side. Is this the wrong motor ? Help.

Much appreciated, N

Anyone have any thoughts on this? the wiper bracket is different it almost seems the wiper is upside down but all the wires are correct?

So we may have solved the mystery! I dug out the original visors and the brackets are different to accommodate one higher and one lower motor, would like to know if this is the same on someones earl 45? The old sun visor brackets are frozen, does anyone have advice on how to loosen these up so I can get them re covered?

Thx, N

Great Whitey, let me know how much and your PayPal and will send the $$$. Whitey are the old visors correct? They are different arms.

Thx,N

FYI nifski, those were the motors that were mounted on the truck when I purchased it but can't say for sure if anything had been changed by any PO before I acquired it. Appears I did swap motors left <-> right by this pic. I think I did that bc that low motor seemed like it was in my line of sight when driving.

Thanks Mike, I got an extra motor that am trying to swap out, The early Visors I have will work if I can get the passenger motor to sit higher. Truck is running great, I cant believe that is the same truck, many complements every day! Will shoot you some new pictures to show you what I have done.

Thanks,N
