I fixed the wheel cylinder it did had a leak on the boot. Now there's fluid coming out from the hole in my previous post on the axle. I'm trying to replace the oil deflector gasket. I'll post pictures when I get home later.

I've fix the wheel cylinder already but there's fluid coming out from the axle. I'll post pictures later.
thanks

1. The wheel cylinder did not have a leak in the boot. The boot is nothing more than a dust cover to keep crap out. There had to be a failure in the inner seal where the pistons ride inside the cylinder. I hope this is what you replaced or you will just have brake fluid pouring out again, not to mention no brakes.

2. There is no "hole" in the axle that can leak gear oil. The axle shaft is solid. The only way gear oil can make its way outside of the axle housing is to leak past the oil seal on the end of the housing. There is an oil seal and a bearing. That's all you get.

Here's the gasket /seal I think I might have to replace because of the diff fluid that is leaking. It's where the flat head screw driver is pointed at. If I do have to replace it how do I remove it? I'm already going to replace the oil seal but should o replace that also. I went to Toyota to buy the oil seal and he said I should replace that gasket too.
thanks fellas

No need to replace this gasket. It is in no way associated with the oil leak. You're making this more difficult than needed.

Okay that's what I thought, I'll just do oil seal. Thanks

I mentioned this in your "leaking lugnuts" thread, but I will repeat it.
If the axle oil seal has failed, it is prudent to replace both the seal and bearing. A worn bearing will cause the seal to fail, and a failed seal will allow dirt and debris into the bearing cavity, causing the bearing to fail. Sort of a "chicken/egg" thing.
Since these parts are a royal PITA to replace and you're already in there and the parts are 20+ years old, replace both the seal and bearing on both sides.
