Need a receiver fab

I almost bought the Curt receiver but then I found some 3/8
scrap and made it so I didn’t have to worry about hanging down too low.

it was a bit of a chore tbh. The receiver piece is welded to a plate which bolts to the OEM crossbar at rear behind the receiver. Welding in there sucks btw.
At least now I can slide whatever accessory hitch I want in there…specifically my new work trailer and a bike rack

That’s what I wanted made for me. Couldn’t find anyone so I bought the curt hitch. Yours looks vedy niiice!

I’ve seen one of these on the back of a BJ74. It’s almost pulled the bolts right through the frame.
I don‘t recommend. Needs more structure and support

Got the hitch and basket mounted finally. One of the welds broke on one nut that’s why there is only 3. Currently looking for a replacement nut
