Planning on heading up north main..
or could be convinced to head up behind cowichan on a snow run, to hunt down Christmas trees with kids and probably shoot. Full day adventure, snow fun.

They could have really used us up there the other night!

Unfortunately the whole area up there has gotten quite popular the last few years. Just a complete gong show most of the time now. Not many other accessible close options though. When I first discovered the area about 12 years ago, often didn't see anyone even driving all day. So rescues like this don't surprise me anymore.

When I was younger there were no rescue services. Wonder how many would be up there if they didn’t have their nanny-tether smartphone. Or someone to answer it.

Hey Steve, sorry I forgot to touch base on this. There's too much stuff with family this weekend, and I just can't get away. Truck needs work and is off the road for a bit. Anyhow, hope you guys have fun today. Thanks for the invite here.

Just got back in from mowing down a Christmas tree. Drove over the Kludak looking for snow to play in, it was blizzarding but unfortunately only snow on the ground was in the shade. Got to check out a new bog also for follow up future exploration.

Great pictures, and love the cake! Will have to check out the bog sometime. Thanks for sharing.
