Just a daily driver and dog-hauler. Anyone have a recommendation for a battery that they like..my 100 series is not modified at all so just a standard 27F battery is what I need. THought to check in here before giving $250 to O'Reillys..TIA :)

interstate battery from Costco will be a lot cheaper than that

I second the Toyota battery with 84 months warranty, one of my battery lasted nine years.
Interstate would be the second best.

I just got a Group 27 at Costco and it was $10 cheaper than a Group 24. $115-ish. Deal. Went in my '78 FJ40.

I go with Costco as they cover full replacement up to 48 months then pro-rated up to 100 months. They seem to have issues about 3 1/2 years in, so it's always a free replacement for me.

10.4..$150 at dealer..7 year wtty..SOLD. THANKS GUYS!

Costco battery has changed. Now it's 36 Limited warranty (pro-rated) but warranty might vary by location. I think a few bad apples ruined it. They would return battery right before the replacement period ended (whether the battery is good or bad), which would sometimes renew their warranty.

P.S. I believe the replacement Toyota battery (OEM, not OE) is manufactured by Interstate.

Correct, what I put was for Costco Canada (I figured they would be the same for all, so didn't clarify):
Kirkland Signature Automotive (flooded battery)
0-to48 months - Free replacement
49-to66 months - 50% refund based on purchase price
67-to100 months - 25% refund based on purchase price
Sorry for any confusion.

I have Walmart Everstart Maxx full 36 month replacement 24 F battery. Been using 24F for past 8 years and no issues.
