I am looking to buy a FZJ80 w/ fact. lockers. Need a mechanic (besides the stealerships) to do some of the work that i can't do.

Thanks for any leads.

Hope to join ya'll on the trail soon.

chime in JP!

JP would only be able to chim in if he actually let anyone else work on his cruiser...therefore once again he's useless...haha just kiddin JP.....When ya wanna come over and finish up the spring perches!

jp might be worthless, but that means i am too. ;) i live in North Augusta and i do not know of a good mechanic for a LC. I have not had anything happen that i have not done myself.

well I don't know of any landcruiser specific shops in the augusta area besides the actual Toyota "stealerships" .............. if you had to go to a shop I would go to one of the Butler Automotive shops, good honest guys there.

with that said though just join Upstate Cruisers if you haven't already and you can bring you 80 up to Ralph Hayes Toyota to have it serviced. We get a 25% discount on parts and labor and they do top notch work and always take good care of us UC members

best of luck
JP

Lexus dealership in Augusta lied to me and didnt really seem to take me seriously when I was considering getting a 100 series. HAving said that I would avoid them.

What does your 80 need done? might be a few guys here who are willing to help out. RH Toyota in Anderson is our sponsor and alot of members seem to be please with them. I have use the Toyota dealership in Greenwood, SC to do the timing belt and 100K mile service on my 4runner b/f I knew about UC. They treated me right. Hope this helps.

I would be happy to help on 80 series work...I know my way around pretty well by now :)

Any experiences at Milton Ruben Toyota in Augusta?

I will hopefully pick up a LX450 this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had their Land Cruisers serviced at the Milton Ruben Toyota in Augusta. I am specifically looking into getting the birfs serviced, and possibly the headgasket, as well as getting the initial baselining done. Thank you.

Hint, I live in Atlanta and drove to Ralph Hayes to have my wifes timing belt changed.

If you need major work done like a HG replacement you need to call Michael or Brian at ACC Toyota outside of Atlanta. I talked to them awhile back about their 80 series HG replacements and their rates and workmanship are very good.

ACC or Ralph Hayes toyota
