Hey guys I'm pretty new around here but had a question for the group about what kinda wheeling happens most out here. I see a lot of trucks covered in mud driving around town, and a lot of trips to URE on here. Just trying to get an idea on how hairy things get to better prep the gear I bring in the truck.

In Colorado some of the guys told me tire wise 33s and and a winch I could go about anywhere up there just curious as to what your experiences have shown you guys.

33 and a winch and you can go about anywhere.
Go to Logan's Run. Get to know the gang. See a range of trail difficulty.

Come join us a Logan's Run. I think you will be shocked at the variety of the trucks, people, and trails.

I'd really like to not sure if the truck is up to it or if I'll have the time off weekend work has started kicking back up again.

If your truck can get you to URE it can do the easy trails. No worries. Plenty of bone stock trucks do the easy runs with no issues. Come out this weekend to LR and ride with someone else on the trails if you don't want to take yours. I have an empty back seat.

Talking to the wife about coming out id work Friday till midnight so I would be there till Saturday early morning. I'm confident my truck could probably do a Med trail just need some extra throttle help. It's just getting there it's got 4.88s with only 33s so I know highway driving is not so fun just a slow 45mph is about the most I wanna push it at. Might take you up on the back seat ride if things work out though really hoping to get out and meet the club and see what's out here.

33s and lockers pretty much will get you up any legal trail in NC provided a good line. There are harder lines that will require more.

When wet that's a different story

Ok well hopefully I can keep up when I make it out with you guys. I'm on 33s and technically I have lockers just not working lol but those are coming out and a Aussie locker will go in the back with some 4.11s.

Wet is always more fun

Where are you driving from? I was nervous about driving my SOA FJ60 to URE the first time, but it's actually a very mellow drive from Charlotte.

I'm driving from up near Burlington it's only 85 miles but not sure how it'll handle the highway time. I'm hoping I can make it get everything ready still working some CB issues and all that to be inspection compliment.

Youll be fine to Uwharrie. You can hop on 49 to 109 and keep it two lane. Things things are noisy but dont mind to rev. You should be fine at ~55 but thats a nice lil country drive you dont have to feel rushed on.

I'm gonna try it's probly been almost 4 years since I've been to an event so I'm hoping to make it.

Thanks on point that out honestly I didn't even notice.
