@Realst8 what wastegate did you go with. I got the CX manifold and a BW turbo but not sure what wastegate to go with that will work with the CX manifold that is still quality. I did not want to use theirs.

Really like the intake manifold, so much more space efficient than mine. Running a setup like that and you can still use the factory location for a second battery, something that my setup doesn't do very well. I may look into something like that.

It's a 180 degree 3" cast elbow from cx racing a 13" silicone straight a 90 degree 3" cast elbow and a 90 degree silicone elbow. I eyeballed it before installing anything and I couldn't believe how well it fits

I used theirs but took it apart to make sure the diaphragm was installed properly and there were no machining defects. Also swapped in an eBay 4psi spring which is actually a 6psi haha. That hks style flange doesn't fit anything else but I did find this Flange adapter.

Yours has the A/A intercooler so that makes the piping more complicated. His will look a little different when he gets his intercooler installed.

Nice set up, I have a off topic question how difficult was it to move your e-brake to the other side of console? I've thought about it and or a E-stopp. I real would like a descent arm rest that doesn't look like a$$. Thx

It's kind of a pain but doable, dropping the transmission down a couple inches helps. You have to cut the tunnel and it is pretty thick. The tunnel is stamped so you can see where to cut easily

FWIW, I didn’t find it necessary to move the parking brake. Very comfortable for armrest.

Funny, picture on post #26 looks like there is a e-brake handle on passenger side of box.

Today I put the other wastegate spring in, it is at about 7.5psi and feels strong. I am so happy I installed the turbo! It was pretty hot today, 98 degrees 35% humidity and you can feel it heat soak with no intercooler.

@Realst8
Did you start with the complete CK kit?
Are your fender vents powered?
Did you upgrade your exhaust?
How much are you into the set up?

I ordered the kit with the manifold, wastegate and downpipe, no intercooler and no turbo then purchased a t67 turbo from cx racing. I pieced together other misc. Fittings hose etc. Their kit is not complete.

The fender vents are not powered.

Exhaust is a bosal muffler and no resonator.

I'm in it about $2,700 including an innovate wideband

It would be super cool if you took the time to do a detailed break down on how you did it so clean for $2700.
Im sure myself and many would be interested.

No problem!

Manifold, down pipe, wastegate & turbo - $1294 w/tax and shipped ( with 10% discount, Easter weekend deal)
Intake silicone, aluminum tubes, and clamps - $310 w/ tax and shipped
Innovate PSB-1 wideband - $268 (amazon has the best price)
Split second enricher - $213
New Denso narrow band o2 - $52
OEM exhaust manifold gaskets, brake booster hose and check valve - $118

Misc. fittings, hardware, check valves, braided hose, exhaust housing heat shield - approx $150
I already had the earls flame guard and header wrap so that would have been about $100

I didn't like the fitting from cx for the turbo oil return so I purchased a 1/2npt to -10 fitting and tapped the aluminum part of the pan in the same location as the Witz'end kit and sealed with dirko

Also I use Norma brand hose clamps, not the cheap stuff that comes with the kit.

Total I'm under $2500 for turbo parts but also changed the oil and filter (rotella 5-40 syn)

I will be routing the dumptube into the downpipe. Its pretty loud and I want it to be a sleeper :)

I had already replaced the fuel pump and filter and with a TRE performance fuel pump TRE fuel pump. I bought two and always have the extra in my spare parts bag.

I did the charcoal canister mod by removing the little check valve and it worked, no more pressure in the tank. I don't think the internal check valve if kept in place would stop boost pressure on its own. I wonder if the forced induction guys without a check valve before the CC are pressurizing their fuel evap systems without knowing it. Just a thought it would have to be tested to know for sure. @TYM4FUN

I have been thinking about an intercooler but also water/meth injection. I ran water/meth on my bimmer which also had a huge A/A intercooler before switching to e85 and it works great, but I had it tuned way beyond what 91oct could handle so it was unsettling relying on the water/meth as actual fuel. I think I may try it on the 80 for intake cooling on hot days and long grades and see how it goes.

Here are my orders from CX. I ordered a silicone 3" x 2" coupler, a 3" aluminum coupler and another T bolt clamp over the phone so they are not listed.

FWIW the Safari kit comes with a check valve on the charcoal canister line. I have fuel tank pressurization not unlike everyone else on this board who has experienced that issue.
