Damn, that's pretty.

I doff my hat to you.

Looks great Drew! FYI: Flying rocks/sand/gravel from the rear pulling rig's wheels have completely pummeled every front and side angled surface on the front of my AT . I wish I would have tried to have mitigated this sooner. But you might want to seriously consider some type of mud flaps. Maybe something like the Rock Tamer Cabela's -- Rock Tamer Mud Flaps

or similar. But your nice paint job will take a beating if you don't do something.

Yeah, I drove it up here and went through one puddle of snow run off on the highway and the trailer got COVERED. Some removeable mud flaps are in order for sure. I am also contemplating a screen similar to the King Kampers on the leading edge of the trailer too. Thanks for the tip!

Look sharp!

Got a third leg for the rear of the trailer? Or not needed becuase of the batteries as a counterweight??

Cheers,

Drew that looks sweet all set up, will you need any rear stabilizers?

Actually, I had a buddy watch the tongue for me and I tried to get it to flip backwards and couldn't while in the tent... and that is with zero water in the front, the batteries, axle placement and luck are all playing into the trailers stability... which is impressive. Still, I do plan on a drop down leg for the rear as I want to mount sliding drawers with a kitchen on it and another for cargo.

Thanks fellas for the kind words!

Thanks Gregny, I am probaly around 800ish pounds dry. I need to get on a scale to see exactly where I am at. Time to head to the trash drop and get on the scale.

Got to camp out this week in the trailer for the first time, what a treat! We slept awesome, the trailer was rock solid and the talk of the campsite...

...even woke up to a big bull moose snooping around us in the meadow we were camping at. What a great first night in the trailer. Unfortunatly, our camera has been on the brink... so no pics yet.

You sir are a craftsman. I've watched since you posted your cool napkin drawings and to see the finished project is just awesome. Just incredible. The design ideas and creativity are top notch.

Thanks 24hoursofnevada- I have always seen your setup as something to shoot for over on ExPo.

:D thanks!

Now there's a woman that knows how to please a man..."She got me the letters for my birthday" I want find a girl like that!!...lol When is the pull out kitchen coming together..i'm real anxious to see that lil' treasure! The whole setup rules with an iron hand. Keep the pix coming please!

Can you give us some details on the safety chains you use? Actually, they look like cables that hold their coiled shape.

Thanks for sharing this awesome build.

I will get to it fellas, our camera is down and not wanting to work for squat... I will post up some pics when I get a chance.

As for the Chains, they are actually coiled safety cables... I have enough squeeks and rattles already in the cruiser without giving the trailer any more excuses to make some noise. :D I'll take a close up next time the camera works.

Where'd you get those bad boys?

I got mine at the local hardware store, but I have seen them carried at WalMart. Just make sure they are rated for your needs.

I managed to save a few pics of our first campout after the camera melt down. One for color two for a good trailer shot. Thanks for all the kind words, next winter I will build up the kitchen and cargo drawers as well as all the other little things that need to get done on it, but for now, we are really enjoying all the hard work when we get to get out camping.

Are those leaves dead or is fall hitting where-ever you took those pics?

What else can be said..It's a thing of beauty and a joy forever. The standard by which all other builds can be compared to. Unwrap the folding chair..pop open the cooler..and crank the top off a cold one Drew and enjoy!! You've earned it!!

Nope, there is a pine beetle that is killing all the pines of Grand County in Colorado... can you say forrest fire?

It is sad, but the Aspen, and Blue Spruce are unaffected.
