Today I picked up my new 100 from Slee Off Road after they went through it to do all the necessary maintenance and add some upgrades.

They liked it soo much, they put it in the showroom until I could pick it up.

GCC spec with all the nice goodies like V8 mated to a manual transmission (making it a beast), cloth interior, factory swing out tire carrier, sub tank (that actually works), and no sunroof.

Besides all the new parts in the drive train, water pump, timing belt, etc. The suspension was upgraded with an OME 1.5/2" lift, ARB front bumper, and Toyo R/T Trails in 285-75/16.

And of course the heater core needed replacing, and that was not cheap.

Has the equivalent of 136K miles, but being 25 years old, there are issues like some of the backlighting in the dash has long faded or burnt out.

Oh, it has a cool box in the center console, not sure if it works?

First thing I need to do is remove the window tinting as it's soo dark, I can't even see outside, except through the windshield.

😍 😍 😍 😍

I had no idea that the V8 w/ manual was ever an option worldwide. Usually the manuals are disel or the anemic 1FZ . very amazing. Any idea what transmission it is? R150 or R151 ?

Wow, another fabric 100. I'm a little jelly about that tire carrier swing. OOhhhhh, just noticed the stick. That's a spicy meatball!
I am jealous for the tall stick sitting between the front seats! Fabric seats is the way to go. I got my 21 taco custom ordered with fabric seats. Now hunting an Armada but fabric seat does not come with white exterior:

Heatercore is the most tedious job anyone would like to do. I did it on my corolla/Prizm and took 2 full days- 8 hours to pull just the dash out.

I sold a Saab 9-7 Turbo rather than do the heater core when it started leaking coolant into the passenger foot well.

151 transmission. A new clutch and pressure plate was installed before it departed UAE.

Out of curiosity, why is fabric seat preferred? Is it mainly because leather seat likely cracks and is higher maintenance?

Fabric is certainly a preference for some people. Sometimes more of a cool factor because of it's rarity around here. Hot weather, I can see the preference. But for me, I see a sponge and it is not as durable as leather. Cloth absorbs odor, dust.... heaven forbid bodily fluids! My kids have thrown up a couple of times on curvy mountainous roads.

Cool 100 though. I am most envious of the lack of sunroof... and the extra storage up there.

Just noticed no spoiler on the poverty packs...

Fabric holds you in place better when bumping around off-road. It also doesn't get as hot in the sun. Cloth is WAY more durable in the long run than Toyota leather from 93-07. I readily admit my bias though...and it is cool to have something that you don't see every day.

Looks like mine on the inside :) Awesome find.
Trans is the H151 much stronger then R151 if you weren't aware. I'm still in GCC but hopefully can bring mine home soon.

Cloth is nice and seems to last forever but man it's grabby. No sliding around to get comfortable. Wife hates it when wearing a dress 🤣

Who imported It for you?

I don't like leather because my back sweats on long trips with leather, vinyl, or synthetic seats. Don't have the issues with most cloth seats.

Also, the cloth seats feel softer.

The softer cushion in my cloth seats 80's and this 100 are soo much more comfortable than the leather in my other 80's.

Toyota cloth interiors from the 1990s are made of some nearly indescructible material
Almost...turns out it's not German Sheppard-proof :bang:

I think I'm just going to get a local shop put a little foam in and sewn in some Mexican blanket material or something else cool, Hawaiian shirt? Camo?
