Hi all.
Been lurking for a while now, since before I bought the '94 FZJ80. The information here in the forums helped me make the decision to buy my 80, and it is continuing to benefit me now that I am an owner.
So far I haven't had to ask a single question as whatever I needed to know was somewhere on the forums, sometimes requiring a little digging to find, but it's here.

I got my FZJ with 158K miles on it from a soccer mom who did everything by the books. In fact, she had just put $1800 into the Cruiser for the 150K mile maintenance, including;
New radiator, all new hoses (including PHH), new spark plugs and wires, new O2 sensors, new thermostat, new belts, transmission inspection and new fluids...
The cruisers are becoming more readily available here, I suppose due in some part to the higher gas prices.
I chose the '94 for a few reasons: wanted "Toyota" on the front grille, it has locking diffs, the way it was maintained, and the fact that I only paid $6000 for it.

So far I've cleaned her up, put my Yakima basket on the roof (already owned it with lots of attachments), installed the 3" OME lift, new Nittos (285/75-16), new Pioneer radio + Sirius, CDL switch + 7pin mod, husky liners, washer diverter valve, new speedo gear.

missing a running board and two hub caps?

That's his before and after shot.

He's got mismatched tires too. :flipoff2:

Welcome. :D

Nice find at a great price! '94's rock!

Thanks.
I've got new bumpers in progress, and hopefully get some sliders on sooner than later.
Absolutely love driving her around... Grew up driving trucks, so I'm loving the feeling of driving one again.
I tell everyone that the Cruiser was riding better on worn shocks than my 2006 Tacoma did... very nice ride.

Great price and condition, nice stuff! I always liked the TOYOTA grille too

Nice truck, makes me sad to hear I could have got one as nice for such a good price! Dang... stupid impulse buys...

Well, you know what they say about 94s -- they're the best!

Hey I noticed you removed your center caps. Can I have them? :D

i have to agree very nice truck ...but hey with your rack on do you feel extra lean when you take corners or extra wobble ?

Welcome.... If you're like me, MUD will only fuel your desire to tinker with and mod your nice cruiser... Great color as well.

No, but I haven't had any substantial weight up there yet either. The basket only weighs 25 pounds.

Looks like you've gained an inch or two with the standard height OME.

I edited my post... I shouldn't have said standard. What I meant was the 2-3" OME that everyone else does. Mine are heavies in the front, mediums in the rear. (850, 861 I think, or vice versa, I'd have to look at the receipt)

Interesting choice, usually the other way 'round, isn't it?
That's the way it was on my 62 anyway - med front / heavy rear.
