Hey everyone, just picked up this 95 fzj80 off craigslist this evening, it has about 140k, all stock, no lockers :meh:, in pretty good shape for the year, not sure what I will do with her next as far as mods, maybe just center diff lock switch and remove the running boards for now and baseline all the fluids, filters, plugs, ect and fix w/e that needs to be fix like the pulsating brakes, let me know what ya guys think! :)

Looks nice and clean! Moonglow Pearl? You are going to love this truck but your wallet may not once you
start drooling over all the wicked mods that await.
Enjoy the ride!

Thanks stone, and you're right about both! btw nice 40th man, love that color the most on the 80 series

Congrats on the new rig! Looks pretty clean from the pictures and relatively low miles for an 80. Slightly biased, but love the Moonglow Pearl. Looks just like my 80 when I got it back in 2004.

Getting all the maintenance caught up is a good place to start. CDL switch and removing the running boards are quick and easy thing to do in the process. You may want to pick up a set of OEM front mud flaps as well otherwise you will have an open front endcap/open flare after the running boards are removed.

Damn dejavu! Same color as mine moonglow pearl, and I also had pulsating brakes when I brought her home! I would check your rotors sounds like they are warped thats what was the problem on mine. Swapped out the rotor and pads with new oem rotors and hundred series pads, repacked and inspected wheel bearings and called it a day. Heres what your whip will look lile if u deflare it and take off the rust boards. Oh and welcome:flipoff2:

Base-lining right off the bat is a great plan !! Nice looking ride, have fun with it and keep us up-dated with mods !

Congrats! Fixed my shaky brakes with a quick call to Dan a few months back. One day ill remember to post the pic of the front rotors I took off. I've had buddies tell me they're the worst they have ever seen. Surprising since everything else on my truck seems to have been well looked after. And just finally took off my running boards tonight, so quick and easy.

Welcome to your new best friend! (Maybe :) )

Just saw your post on expo. Thought about advising you to stay away from mud. These people are all very sick in the head. It's contagious.... ;)

Hahahahaha

Welcome to the addiction OP!

That's a pretty truck, nice job. Your plan is perfect, baseline it and in the process you will get to know the truck very well. Removing the running boards will make it look like you added a 2 inch lift. Whatever you do, do not read the "Best Mods for Under $100" thread until you are done with the baselining. Don't do it, don't even click on the link below, you may never sleep again until you have done them all.:D
