So I recently finished the front bumper / side bars to hold my 8274 just in time for River Shiver.

These are basic mock-up and some test fits, as well as what the truck looked like naked.

looking at it up close, it is a nice piece of work,
congrates Craig, it will look good with your snorkel installed...
cheers

Man it's great to see some original fabrication stuff like that. Starts to give some good ideas for the Future. What type of pipe did you use? Now all you have to do is ram it up against some rocks and trees and see how it works. We should always be posting pictures of any new fabs on all of our great units. Keep on crushing boys.

I'm not sure what brand of pipe bender it was, but it's a pretty sweet air over hydraulic unit my friend bought.

As for tube, the main hoop is 2", and the rest is 1.5" all 1/8" wall. The center piece is 3/16" plate, with 1/2" for the two d-ring holding outside pieces.

Craig.

I did mine too

Hey guys, this is my toy.

I made myself the front bumper. I copied ARB's design and made some mods. I installed the snorkel myself too (can imagine my face when I started making the hole on the body?)

I will post a pict of the engine to show the carb (yes, a 1FZ-F engine with carb ;p ), and distributor mod
