Hello,

Just picked up a 2017 LC, and it came certified Toyota with some nice mods :)

Bye bye G-Wagon...

Awesome, SSG. And certified too!

Have you had a Toyota in the past? We’ve had nothing but great reliability with ours.

Cheers.

Yeap I have had many Toyota's and many LCs in the past :-)

Actually traded in a 2016 LC for the G wagon and came back to the LC haha :-)

Ah, makes sense. I figured you had “something Toyota” since you’ve been a member for more than 2 years.

Well, unlike most of us here, you’ve owned a G wagon. So now you can say “Been there, done that.”

Welcome back and an awesome looking LC too!

Small world indeed :-)

Yeap I traded it in for the G Wagon at Mercedes of Bellevue, which did not last long at all and back to a LC haha.

So what was the factor driving you back to LC? Even the 550 is such a different vehicle from the LC. Curious how it aligns with my G65 experience.

I do like the G wagons but what drove me back to the LC is the interior room and the big market of mods for it and I feel I can do more work on the LC on my own if need be. I don't care about fuel efficiency, they all guzzle but I care about range, and for the LC I can get an aux tank much easier than for the G.

I love the way the G Wagons drive, the power, they are fun to drive for sure but about a week and a half after owning it I missed my LC so much lol.

Yeah my G65 sure was fun but i got between 5-7mpg in Seattle traffic. It felt like i was gassing every other day. Time is my premium. Power was great but really where could i use it in the PNW?

Oh some of the mods/info from the truck. It currently has 17K miles.

AFE Cold Air Intake
Nitto Ridge Grapler LT295/55R20
OME BP51 (Not sure the lift height)
ICON Billet Aluminum Rear Lower Link Kit

Needs a good wash lol
