My new 2016 LC-quick comments and thank you.

Hi All,

Well we got our Classic Silver 2016 LC 2 weeks ago and all I can say is wow.

The build quality is amazing, everything is so tight and attention to detail is phenomenal. I owned a 4runner prior and never even test drove this baby but my wife and I love it. Although its her car and I rarely will be driving it.

We waited 3 months to get it, this thing is hard to buy. Its not hard to get a great deal just hard to find the one you want in the right color close to you without flying or driving.

I want to thank everyone who chimed in a few months back when I had questions and asked for feedback. This is a great forum. I am sure I will have questions in the future.

I just wanted to introduce myself. We live in Dallas and would love to know more about any active LC clubs in North Texas.

Congrats. We also owned a 4Runner before the '15 LC we now own. Although the 4Runner was a 2014, it pales in comparison to the LC. The power, the quiet cabin, all the bells & whistles. I could go on-and-on, but why bother--everyone here knows what I'm talking about. No buyer's remorse here.

Here you go gang. One is the pick up at the dealer and the other is just today after coming from pro tint in Plano with the windows tinted. I couldn't be happier with the look of this car. Have a great weekend everyone

Looks nice.

I have mixed thoughts about the limo-dark windows on my 200.

-It's great for security, as no one can see ANYTHING inside, except for the front row.
-Protects the leather from direct UV/sunlight...and will surely extend its life over time.
-Privacy is great.

-Down side is visibility out back & sides in the evening/night.
-Makes it harder to see hand signals while wheeling, etc.

I dunno... Ouray trip will likely decide it one way of the other for me.

I hear you on the limo tint. It is way too dark. Believe it or not that is not the limo tint that is the medium. I got lumar CTX medium. Front is lighter but back and rear is medium tint.

The tent definitely gives it a different look. And more over living in Dallas where it's hotter than planet Mercury I really needed the protection.
