Last one has the timbren rear bump stops installed.

Nice work, frame looks awesome.

What did you use for rust converter and paint?

Everything is getting buttoned up on the exterior now. New grommets for the brake fluid res and lost a screw that held it on but a local shop saved the day!

Used Mobil 1 mobilux EP2 on all the Ujoints and the nitro UCA’s.

Smacked my head annnd about knocked myself out when I was getting out from under the rig lol.

The brake fluid lost from the bad grommets wrecked the paint so I used my Die angle grinder on it and cleaned it up then painted. Looks new again. This gave me a chance to remove the mild rust that was there which makes me feel like I didn’t do it all for not.

Used rust converter on any surface I could get my hands on even if it didn’t have rust. This stuff really restored the frame and got rid of the mild surface rust it had.

I sprayed a thin coat of Eastwood chassis paint on the frame and the welds to seal it up.

Various pics taken of completed work. Everything torqued to spec.

Slee diff drop, TT extended sway links front and rear, new Toyota OE CV’s, new lower control arms.

Ordered new wheel well arch protectors. Thicker and better than OEM, forget the name right now.

Slee battery terminals ordered and group 31 odyssey battery.

Battery tray installed.

Pic of pre paint and during paint.

All high quality paints used and proper painting procedures.

Delta panhard correction bracket also installed!
I’ll post pics once I get her on the ground.

I’m getting excited to finally drive it after all these months :D

OME torsion bars installed as well.

The interior brackets were all deep cleaned, cleaned with my die angle grinder and painted. They turned out great and it was good to finally install them.

Next is to installed battery and get the seats out. Then I’ll remove the rest of the carpet, deep clean then install new carpets.

Taking seats to interior shop in a few weeks.

Keep up the great work! 👍 👍

~3 months into a build, and already contemplating its sale?
Something’s come up that may force the sale.
Wouldn’t need a vehicle for about a year and wouldn’t want to let it go to waste.

No matter what happens, if I had to do this all over again I would. I’ve learned so much in the process of this build and have made it a nicer rig every time I’ve worked on it. It’s been a fun and rewarding process.

I took it out before the pics of the interior and need some help with how the cam bolts look on the upper control arms for an aligned rig. A pic would be very helpful.

One of the nicest builds. So meticulous with every detail.

Needed a 2G crimper to finish the battery install PROPERLY. Good thing my one and only dad can help with that since he’s an electrician. I’ll get it crimped tomorrow after shift tomorrow morning when I am relieved.

Small issues with the upper control arm boot, somehow it ripped on my short test drive. Funny because this side had less camber than the other side.

Not sure if I posted this but my daily driver is out of order via catalytic converter theft in my driveway. Police report was filed. I have video proof and the plates 👍
