Yea, this is a LT engine. 6.6 from 2020 siverado. 6l90 transmission.

I really like this paint. They make 3 different "formulas" we used the plus. We didn't really have much rust, but figured the benefits were worth it.

We're gonna use it on the bottom of the 60 also, before setting it on the frame.

New shoes!

Well, potentially temporary ones, but these are 35-12.50 R20. Plan is 35s on 17s or 18s

My son put 14 wides on his truck, and these became available 🤣

Well, not much left to take apart. 🤣

We'll start back with a complete layer of "dynamatt" and go from there.

Working on the rust too. Both of these areas are bad. This is drivers side, I salvaged brackets from both sides(inside and outside) . Just need new sheet metal between them.

Passenger side was worse, and I got a wheelwell section from BarnyardCruisers.

Hoping to pull the body off my 60 in the near future. How much would you say the body weighs?
I think around 600 lbs as is. I've got some notes somewhere, but there's nothing left to remove except the glass.

I'd guess doors and full interior would be another 1000 lbs maybe

@AcroSteve You need one of those "not in a hurry" stickers for the back! Just to mess with people. Enjoying seeing your progress. Nice color BTW 👍
Speaking of color...

Getting the rotisserie probably is going to result in more work. 🤪

We hadn't really originally planned on a full paint job, but it will never be easier to access than it will be on the rotisserie.

Update on the rear frame extension/bumper mount.

Original FJ60

Original FJ80 with 60 body in place.
I had already removed the ream member after I flipped the frame.

Modified 80. 4" channel.

And if anyone cares to see how I integrated the hitch with the bumper when I built it....

And the 6 bolts on each side. I'll finish welding it when the body comes back off.

Made some progress on the front end. I want to go review some of the other 140 threads to see how mine compares, but it's just a matter of making it work. I can't remember if others had flipped the front of the frame like the rear.

Here's the radiator support mounts. I took a shortcut and started with the original A pillar mounts I removed. I considered using the original 80 front mounts, and just moving them back, but the Centerline on the 60 support mounting locations was 2-3/8 from the edge of the frame. Much more than original.

And the front bumper is basically going to have to sit on the front frame horns. Actual height will probably be about an inch lower than this after I notch the frame.

I've got a little more welding/fabricating to do there than I anticipated, but it'll work out.

And worked on mounting the electric GM fan yo the radiator. Still gotta trim one side as marked, but it turned out pretty good.

What radiator/fan combo are you running?
