Now that's progress! Nice work.

Which gear is that where the bushing is worn out? Guessing an output gear. If it is one of the output gears, my parts lookup tool says they're nla.

Finally .... Sorry didn't take much pictures....

Polished the shaft where both bushing goes .. the big gear bushings was better but very corroded too changed both anyway.

Closed the t case , after pressing the 2 last bearings on the output shaft and changing the seal of the selector fork. Greased every paper seal too.

The 4wd synchro ring was a bit beaten ...but it still engage and work. Also, since I'm supposed to shift it when the truck is not moving it shouldn't be a problem at all.

For the rest, the gears were not bad , a bit of wear but nothing bad for a 40years old transmission. The worst was the brass bushings 🤷

Next will be the vacuum actuator to reinstall and then put it back under the truck with a brand new clutch disk since the other one died in the process.

More progress soon .

Finished the assembly , everything seem to shift snoothly and it turns easily with no noises.

Installation tonight ? Maybe 😂 if I can find a strong buddy to drop it off my tool chest (what a mess ... I know ....)

I do what I can with what I have heheh

limited budjet with a lot of resources and know-how can bring a build pretty far ! I need to work on my garage organization tho ... I would be much more effective ahahah

Now that the truck will be running I will have to repair a few friends cars to get back afloat :)
