What debacle could you tell me more?

The GX has a bigger rear axle than the 250 and that was a hot topic of discussion here for at least a couple of weeks.

Some of my complaints so far with the Lexus GX550
- It gets pretty terrible gas mileage, 13mpg, I wish it had a larger fuel tank, ~250mi range
- I wish it had starlink roam instead of att wireless
- I can't figure out how to turn on the massage seats
- I wish the 2nd row was a few inches pushed back, using a rotating car seat is impossible
- I wish it had more leg room for the first row passenger
Other than that I like it a lot

13 is pretty atrocious, that's what my 100 series gets. Is that city, hwy, or combined?

I probably have more lead foot than you, I don't know if I can push the OT+ beyond 85mph on these tires
Ouch.
The Toyos can easily do 100+ but it gets a bit "iffy"...you definitely seem to favor the skinny pedal if you're getting 13mpg.
What octane are you running and if it's premium have you tried ethanol free?

I wouldn’t push it beyond 90mph, I’m conservative like that, but I’m def on the gas when accelerating
I will be honest, I don’t keep track of octane, I just put in whatever is the most expensive
I will be completely honest, my last fill up was like 4.10$/gallon, my Tesla charges at 0.02$/kwh
I would be interested in trying out a full EV GX, but I doubt that’s in the pipeline - I cant imagine the range being any worse than the gas version

Ouch. My 80 series gets about 13 just around town.
Higher tow rating though. That's what might push us towards the GX vs the new Land Cruiser.
Got a question for you. How does the rear seat fold down? Is it similar to the 80 Series, head rest pulled out, back cushion lays on the bottom cushion, then the bottom pivots forward? Picture if you have time? TIA.
The second row seats tumble forward just like the 80, 100, and 200.
