If you're using a Toyota steering column, search for turn signal info... Kind of counter-intuitive with Painless/Chevy harness.

If you're using aftermarket or Chevy column, should be painless.

It'll be Painless... Unless you start banging your head against the wall.

I'm really looking forward to doing mine some day.:D

will be using a chevy tilt wheel. i don't mind the wiring "thing" and everything is labeled so we will see. BTW i have a padded room if i start banging my head again:bang:

Wow, You're moving right along. That's cool. Nice work brother.

got most of the engine/ecm wiring done . made a front bumper and put on the front bib and lights

Looking good man, you're giving me hope for mine as I start to rip into her tomorrow morning! Keep up with the pics! How hard is it to convert to TBI?

Thanks
TBI is a little different than what i have. i am using a TPI. TBI uses i believe 2 injectors while the TPI uses 8. both are good a little more HP with TPI. as far as how hard it is painless kit is pretty basic, everything is labeled so it is plug and play.. kinda pricey. there are other kits that are good as well.(howell affordable fuel injection and i'm sure plenty more) good luck with your build..

forgot to mention you need the newer style center bolt style heads. dont recall the years but i think around 86 or so..

been a while but here is so more updated pics

i did my painless if you dont plan on retaining the stock dash it would be ok ie autometer everything (total change of controls) dont do it repair what you have if you are going for stock dash. it can be done but a nightmare.

will be changing all gauges to autometer .. thanks

picked this up from marks offroad last week. i didn't know it was gonna be that difficult to find another hump when i threw my old one out.. RULE #1 don't throw LC stuff away  it was cut up pretty bad though.. so i wanted to repair what i picked up from mark. sorry about the crappy phone pics
