And I had to get the shorter 35qt engel as the 45 quart would not fit in the front box.

The 35QT fits perfectly with no room to spare

Now I have the Heater, fridge and power to run them.

Don't want to big a change for you old man. Not sleeping on the ground is probably a big enough change as it is

Congrats. Pretty sure its the twin of mine except for the boat stuff that was removed from mine before I got it.

sounds like it won't be long before you see a ...

CDAN KK thread..

Naw.....

I'll take this one over................:flipoff2:

I don't know Romer...... I think you should have held off for one with a second story! :flipoff2: Hehehehe That is simply awesome!

The 2nd floor option takes an extra 10 minutes to deploy:D

BTW - I do know of someone selling their 2006, which is newer than mine.

Here is the last mod . . . . . . for a while!

Have the 30lb tank and I could keep it full, but I decided to buy a 5 gallon tank. This would provide an additioonal continous 15 hours of the heater alone. The heater shouldn't need to run continous, so the 5lb tank provides me a 2 day buffer when the big 30 lb tank runs out.

Bought the 5lb bracket from Adventure Trailers. Make sure you get the correct 5lb tank that works with this. I bought a 5lb tank at Home Depot that was too wide, so had to buy another one.

Ready to go camping next weekend with the club

Finally got to break it in camping in the rockies. We stayed at Camp Hale and ran Holy Cross:eek:

Ken,
Camp Hale is a beautiful location for a camp. I'm guessing over on the east side away from the highway? The timing has never been right for me to camp there, so I've never been over there. My bro and SIL have camped there several times, but I'm not exactly sure where from the highway.

Very nice rig!

Looks like you could use airbags from that last pic Ken!

Just Thought I should post a status update

This is an awesome kamper. I have been on trips where I can pop the top and be fully setup in under 5 minutes for quick stays. Takes longer to set up the canopy if we are staying loner. It's versitle and with the heater and fridge, there really isn't anything else I feel I need to do to it.

If you find one for sale, buy it!

Kind of cool that 3 of the 25 now are owned by my fellow local club members. Cruiserdan has one as well thats a twin to mine.

Here are Cdan and I set up next to each other at this past CM. Hants and his KK were a few more spots down.

The second is with my new rig

Nice trailer Ken.
We have a 2010 KK SportsRV Limitied Edition and we love it.
It has the diesel hot water system, bigger water tank and battery capacity.
We took it a couple of times and it is great. We went for a 3 week trip from Perth, WA to Lake Eyre, SA on the Oodnadatta Track and it was great.

All those Guy wires would kill someone after a couple of cocktails lol

It's not so bad. You just need to syncronize your weaves.

We have to get all the KK's together for a trail run. That would be a cool photo op!
