I’m looking for suggestions on vendors who sells rear tire carriers for FJ60’s. I’ve seen a couple with Jerry can s racks and the wheel off to the side. I’ve also seen a center mount. I think it would be a good upgrade.

Can take better pics if you like.

4 plus and love it.

Upperblack, Does that ladder swing down? If so, can it be attached to any bumper or is it welded on the swing arm?
Can I see close up of connection points and deployment mechanism?

Many more details and photos here on that expedition 4plus bumper!

Yes there is a lower section that swings down. Makes using it much easier plus the design is really cool. It’s plate style vs tube there is not one on the 4 plus site. I think it was one of the first one in this style that Dave built.
The ladder bolts on to the jerry can holder which bolts onto a platform.
Maybe these pics help - it's what I have on my iPad but happy to take any pics you'd like to see

Hopefully 4+ has improved their steel prep prior to powder coating. All the paint peeled off mine within 2 years. In comparison my ARB front bumper paint is fine after 15 plus years.

@TRAIL TAILOR makes some high quality stuff from mild to wild. He's pretty busy these days though

If your looking for ideas, here's mine from SROR out of Colorado Springs. I designed it and they built it. It's almost ten years old and still rocking it. The Lower rear quarter sliders are very important. Not only do they help support the load, by bolting to the frame, but will also help support the entire weight of the 60 as it protects the lower quarters. Good luck!
