HAHAHA

Heard some clanking and banging coming from the garage. Found my better half was pounding away on some metal.

I provided what appeared to be some much needed cold beverage support staff duties.

He also installed my new 12,000 lb winch on the front bumper. When I asked him how he installed it by himself, he just flexed his muscles like Popeye.....then he pointed to ratchet straps he had attached to the top of the arb bumper to lift in place:). Just waiting on extended cables to route the control box under the hood.

Figured a good way to get my mind off the staples in the back of my head (unfortunate ice skating incident) was to check out the final day of the Pipe Masters on the Northshore.

Loaded up the 80 and headed north.....with a designated driver of coarse, as I was still a little woozy from the painkillers! Really nice 80 degree winter day on Oahu and great conditions for the contest.

Your pics are some real awesomeness for us who hear "Arctic blast" in our weather reports over "Trade winds" (just guessing a HI forecast term).

And as a fellow head-stapled patient, (Ice got me too, up snowboarding I did a hard 'scorpion') - hope your doc was as good as mine, I had long hair then & my prep nurse did me right & kept the hair shave as tight as she could. She was awesome.

I still remember wishing they gave you a general rather than a local anesthetic for staples though, that is a bad memory yet ~12 yrs ago.

Quick heal Jen, Merry Christmas too!

Thanks. I have never lived in an area with the possibility of an arctic blast, but sounds way to cold. We had some chilly days and nights a few weeks back that dipped into the low 70's, but now it's back in the 80's.
Makes for nice evenings to take the Land Cruiser out and watch the sun go down.

Some sea turtles came right up to the shore when this picture was taken, never gets old seeing them. Stay warm and happy holidays!!!

Howdy, heres the pics, let me know what you think. Willing to drop price after actually looking at them and rinsing em off today.

I had to look over each of the group shots of everyone watching. Looking for my cousin and her family. They also live in Oahu. He is a Native and she is a Midwesterner. We had the opportunity to attend their wedding in 1998 and spent 10 days in Paradise there. I would love to go back and spend some time, as it is all a VERY BEAUTIFUL place!

Some photos of our New Years ride up Pa'ala'a Uka Pupukea trail. Not too many people come out here, as its a restricted access area. But beautiful views of the central mountains.

Any plans for a rear swingout bumper? And how do you like the KO2's?

No plans for a rear swing out bumper yet, maybe @NLXTACY could help out with that and send me a prototype of the one he's working on!
As for the tires, I don't really have anything to compare them to. But they work great on the road, in the sticky red volcanic mud and on the sand....so I can't complain.

Your LC is looking Solid!!! Got a few on Oahu... We gottah do a LC cruise 2017!!

Ok, I was never really interested in the Hawaiian islands before, the forest roads look amazing though. I'm adding it to my list. Also since its currently snowing and 9*F outside, I would like to say thank you to @Aloha Jen for the pleasant distraction.

Thanks! We just got our 2017-18 Ka'ena point permits, so would be fun to do something out there or peacock flats area. Went out to Ka'ena for the first time this week:
