Congratulations Luke...My first car was my Dad's 68 FJ40 hardtop. He bought it new in '68, gave it to me in '90 as a college graduation present. I grew up bouncing around in the back of it with my brother and sisters. I still have it, and won't ever sell it!

Wow thanks for all of the replies! About the seatbelt thing, im buying a pair of them with shoulder straps. Its a bit pricey but most certainly worth it. Yea and were definately gonna bargain with him. Probably get it down to at least 9,500. As for the manual I do not know where to get the factory manual. Trollhole gave me a link to a torrent but I dont believe I downloaded the right one. So if anyone could like a place where I could buy it, that would be greatt! And without a doubt im getting a tuffy. Those things are awesome!

Plan on more upkeep than a modern car, they're deadnuts reliable if you keep up on the maintainence though. My first car was a '78 Trans Am my dad gave me to rebuild, haven't owned anything newer than it yet. Have fun with it!
