Gayragé cleaned up. Ready to start rocking on this.
Summer schedule so far misses the local shows with prior engagements. Going to get it together for the Shasta show in mid September.

Did you open that carpet box yet..?? :cautious:

So i actually have been trying to work on this ride.

Figured i would get the under dash squared away.
Tore apart the heater box to check out the core. It was great other than a stuck control valve. A little Kroil freed it up.

I damaged the lamp wiring grommet when i took the box apart. (56 yo rubber).
The place ive been buying rubber from is closed until August
Well, aint nobody got time for that!
Went to www.steelerubber.com and found what i needed.
Idiot closed guy wanted 17.25 for the two heater grommets. Steele was 3.70. Idiot guy wanted 10 or 28 each for the heater hose through firewall grommets. Steele 2.60 each.

I also bought the rubber to do the resto on the hard top.

I also pulled out the fresh air flaps from under the dash. Replacing the rubbers and fresh coat of paint.
The round thing pics above are the flaps and rubber.

You’re making us look bad gnob!

Sweet, slowly but surely.

Little moar.
Got my rubber from Steele. Good quality. Fit like i needed.
Buttoned up the heater box. Still need to find another clamp for it. Going to see about heater hose tomorrow.
Got the fresh air flapper rubbers installed. As you can see in the pic, the lacking quality (control). Two rubbers in a set, not the same by any means.

I should be able to get the under dash stuff done in the next few days.
One heater hose needs a molded 90°, otherwise its just straight hose 1/2".
Going to dig through the napa or dorman catalogs for those and radiator hoses.

Only pic today.
Heater is installed. Hoses....
So the molded hose was 20$ for 40". I cut it down to 30". The bulk hose is. 80¢/ft. I used 32".
Clearly in the wrong business. Lol
