thanks guys,

Got a set of 20" limit straps and mounts.

Added gussets to the towers and finally burned in all of the metal for good

Added a cross brace

Slee high steer arms require a mouting bung that slides into the ABS hole and welded from the insed of the knuckle. Wish I knew that ahead of time. Had to take the knuckles all apart in again and do a complete sterilization to get it prepped for welding.

I timed myself, it took me 20 min to have everything off and on the table

WOW does not really say enough. Subscribed.

Dang.....I love watching talent in action. Its especially cool since you are working in your own driveway - albeit with all the right tools!

Great work!

Pulled the axle, time to burn everything in

low range offrado bash plate. Had to shave it down and bend it quite a bit to fit the form of the axle.

Ruffstuff diff guard

Installed Ruffstuff axle gussets

Would the ruff stuff Axel gussets be appropriate to strenghten stock axels or are they really only needed on this type of build with 38"?
PS amazing build

Where'd you get the hardware to mount the arms to the knuckles. I'm assuming Slee wants you to use the cone washers and all?

Yeah they don't include the hardware. It was a PITA finding it actually. I ended up ordering a stud/washer set from Australia.

They can be added to any axle. Very easy to install.

Finally got my brake lines situated, courtesy of Earls Performance. Eliminating all of the rubber and metal lines on the axle. Ended up being $76 for complete setup with banjo bolt adapters and couplers.

"offroad use only" :D

Nice! Looks like you'll have to relocate the catch can also?

Figure its time to update my build.

assembled the coilovers

ran the brake lines

(also welded in tabs to keep the lines in place)

the rig sat a little too low, I ended up changing the springs. Went from 150/250 to 200/300.

while waiting for the springs I started on the rear. Plan is to fabricate all heavy duty extended links including panhard bar.

Took out the factory springs and replacing them with OME comp springs.

The lower links are made from 2" DOM. On the axle side they are sleeved to connect onto a poly mount that fits within factory location. On the frame side Ill be running 1.25 Heim joints.

Upper links are from 1.75 DOM. Same mounts on the axle side and 7/8' Heims on the frame side.

Pan hard is form 1.75 DOM with 7.8 Heims.

I modified the panhard frame mount for to slightly lower and level out its position

For rear shocks I went with 12' FOX Smooth body shocks with external resis

Made lower mounts. Factory mounts were chopped of.

Upper mounts were modified as well.

Rear pretty much complete, just need to extend sway bar links.
