Setup up appointment for alignment.

All those fancy tools and DIY 3 link skills and you can't do your own alignment? :flipoff2: It took me several attempts to toe and caster dialed in. I think I settled at around 1/2" toe-in.

Looks killer. I love the F5s. How high are the rockers from the ground? I'm 5'-9", I think I'd need a step ladder to get in!

The frame to ground clearance is at about 24 inches. The springs still need to settle and all the armor will push it event more. I can always adjust the height in the front, I feel like the rear is sitting a bit too tall which I have no control over.

love the stance but the exhaust canister must go

yes its ugly. Ill paint it black or maybe remove it completely

After you install the turbo  you wont need it:grinpimp:

Saturday threw on an old ARB I had laying around and took the Hippo on its first shakedown run. Some mild snow wheeling with the boys. Over all did great. Would do even better if it wasn't for open diffs. Lockers dont want to engage, lights just flash on dash. Will be doing a standalone wiring to get them to power up on demand. Feels good to finally have it out on the trail.:)

Looks great, love the wheel choice. How's it handle freeway speeds?

I had the same issue, likely its a CDL position switch, I got around it by doing the locker anytime mod, Its a quick cut and ground this wire near the locker computer

works flawlessly since

Rig looks great!

thank you,

do you remember which wire to ground?

I wanted to have control over my lockers without engaging the center diff lock or 4WD in my case being part time.

Go to the Diff lock ECU in the passengers kick panel. Locate pin 15 (pink / black tracer on a '96) on the gray connector plugged into the ECU. Cut the wire, terminate the harness side of the wire and ground the connector side.

The center diff light and button still work the same but now you have control of your lockers at anytime.
