I don't know about all of that fellas. But thank you just the same.

I have a question for all of you smarter than me types. How is this seal suppose to be installed?

You get that seal sorted?

I installed it the only way I could see it fitting and functioning. But I don't know if it is correct.

That looks right

hey 76, couple of questions bud.

noticed you turned the thermostat housing so the hose goes the other way. is that so the hose and AC belt dont get in a fight? is it necessary? i plan to run AC in the future and im dropping off my rad today for some other work and so im wondering if i should get the top connection moved to the otherside?

also, what year is your 45?? the front bib is the square type right? well at least the one on the wall is and i thought that was your original? if so, that means your 45 is post 79, except your fuel tank is inside the cab? i r being very confuzzed :hillbilly:

@Vossie it is my understanding that the thermostat housing is in the factory orientation. Both my 2H and 12HT came to me in that position. With the housing being symmetrical it can be rotated. I believe it will only work in the factory position with AC.

My truck is a 78'. The PO installed that fiberglass square bezel at some point in time. I have a correct bezel for it when the time comes.

Looks good!
Do you happen to know the partnumber of the seal in post #528? I believe i'm missing those and there's alot of windnoise coming from those two corners.

Thanks!

ok, just to confirm 100%... if you sitting in the drivers seat facing forward, the thermostat housing points to the right in factory position?

Mark I will have to find the package for the seal. But it did not come from Toyota. It may be NLA. I purchased it from SOR.
