ummm, if you don't NEED to sell it then park it for a while.

that way you won't regret it down the road.

Spence for all the time and money you have put into it you will never get what it is worth to you I wouldn't think...
Keep it if you can! Need a guy with a 60 to visit when I am in Edmonton too!
Would you really wheel the dodge? That big ford didn't do so well last summer ;)

your going to need something to pull with that nice dodge of yours. cruiser sure would look stellar on a flat deck behind a bling dodge.

ps, i would never sell my cruiser. she would never sign the divorce papers anyways!

Here's the thing, I can't have a modified Land Cruiser, my highly modified Corolla, and an $18,000 Cummins all while living at home without paying rent. It's not going to happen. I'm 21. What will happen is the Cruiser and the Cummins will both go up for sale, if I get my asking price for the Cruiser it's gone, but I'll be much more motivated to let the Cummins go than anything else. My price for the Cruiser will be more than firm, there will be no budging.

The thing that brings me down about this Cruiser is not only the hundreds of hours I have into it, but I have a clean body from California that I want to see on the truck. It's like selling a project half built in my eyes. I won't even get into the money loss factor, I bet I've got over $20,000 easy into this thing.

Can you make money off the cummins?
You don't sound bored of the cruiser
A cummins would be sweet but it's a big street truck in my eyes

It would really be ashame to sell the cruiser.... especially since you love it so much! If you do sell it... you're going to regret it later on, believe me!

I have a 2003 Ram just like the one you are thinking of buying....
-6 speed
-Twin turbo's
-35's
-It has good brakes,
-Doesn't rattle
etc etc,,,

It goes straight, it goes fast and when one mashes the throttle it probably fawkes up the earths rotation a little bit.

All good things but is still not a cruiser. At the end of the day you're just another duche bag driving a fullsize. Kids dont point, stare and smile, no one comes up to you in parking lots and say "sweet truck".
Ill never love the Pickup like I love the Sixty...... it just has no character!

My .02.

I appreciate your input. Seriously. I got two compliments yesterday on my truck, I don't think I'll ever see that in a Cummins.

So I had an idea the other day on how to make the intake better, less restrictive, but while still integrating the snorkel. With the difference the cone filter made, I don't want to go back to the Toyota unit. A while back I did an oil change on a buddy's Windstar and remember how the intake was oriented, it was a filter inside a big tube. I decided to make a run to the PnP and check to see if it'll work.

Look at this sexy thing. I mocked it up and it should work perfect, or at least close to perfect. I broke the thing open and tore out the MAF, I won't need it and all it's gonna do is restrict air.

The only modification I will have to do is open the end bigger to 3inch to fit into the snorkel hose. I'm going to get a piece of 3in PVC, chop off what I need to and plastic cement it to the end. Other than that, it fit's like it was made for the truck, looks factory, and has very little restriction. Even those little rubber mounting feet can sit right on the fender skirt, so I can build little brackets if I choose to do so.
