This is the clearance issue I am experiencing between the rear output of my case & the 3 link mount for the rear suspension. This was all put together by the PO. He had issues with the front drive line beating the oil pan of the automatic transmission he was running. When I decided to run the TH350 I installed AA's extended adapter to move the location of the transmission rearward a little to eliminate the problem, In doing so I put the output of the case right against the 3 link crossmember. I plan to do away with this custom 3 link setup but it will not be for some time (unless I cannot find a solution and have no options).

I finished (well almost) my sag steering this past weekend. I've got most all of it done but there are a few issues with the supplied drop pitman arm that was supplied with the steering box (I bought used). Components are listed previously in the thread. The mounting bracket, box and hardware were supplied from Jim at a great deal that I couldn't pass up. Thank you @Downey
I Installed a new pump & pulley fitted for the 95 Chevy 5.7l.

Here are the two tie-rod ends. The right is what was in use and fits the custom drag link (not sure if the Tie-rod end is a toyota part or not).
The left is what was supplied with the drop pitman arm.
Obviously the thread pattern and size are not similar between the two. I would opt to use the one on the right considering that it already fits the drag link and it is beefier (obviously better for rocks and binds) but the tapered end does not fit in the pitman arm.

nice build. just read it all through.

great looking ps conversion, much better than my last attempt on my previous 45. im thinking this might be the route to go when i get to doing the ps on my new 45.

Its been slow lately, work relocating me has really slowed working on it. Anyhow, now that the steering box and power steering pump are installed and plumbed in. Next up is the rest of the steering components. I chose to go with Ruff Stuffs GM 1ton kit. I ordered their kit and the pricey reamer for the tapered bore in the knuckles. After cussing my drill and the reamer a few times I decided to to have a friend (works at a local machine shop) to drill out the knuckles and pitman arm to 7/8 and I ordered the tapered inserts from RS as well. Im sure there are plenty reamers out there but if anyone is in need, just let me know.

One step closer to having the sag steering complete. It would have been 100% this weekend if I did not run into a few things that I need to fix.
All in all I am much closer.

Knuckles drill out to 7/8 to fit the tapered inserts.

Driver side GM 1 ton TRE. These things are massive.

Measure twice, cut once.

Here is a look at the Fuel pickup line. Plugged almost solid. No wonder it was starving out.

We dropped the tank so I replaced all the hoses to prevent having to drop it again in the near future for bad hoses.

I'm curious,
What is this and what did it go to?

Next project is brake lines and a few misc things. Shock tabs, steering stops etc...
While looking at doing the brake lines I have now started thinking about ditching the PO's rear link setup and redoing either a three link or four link setup. I have to do something because as it sits right now I will need to modify the crossmember where this wishbone link system mounts to the ONE joint. The crossmember is in the way of bolting up the rear driveline. You will notice it in the pictures.
Also here are some random photos of the current setup. I have searched and read through a few link threads but have not done any extensive research. I don't know if linking it would be outside my skill level or not but if anyone has any advice or words of wisdom to share on 3 link or 4 link preferences I would appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance.

It's real hard to see on my phone, but it kinda looks like a fuel pickup...
