That was the only knob I had available at the time. Besides you were the only one to catch that. Hope that helped with the late night at the office. Dropping off the driveline today and working on fixing a coolant leak. Then I can reroute the fuel line and she should be ready for a good hammering in the lot by the house!!:grinpimp: Oh and it has rained a couple inches here so MUD will be easy to find shuold still be wet this weekend!!

BTW Nacho...Since yoou are banged up recovering remember to either block off or run a bypass for the throttle body warming line. It's that 1/4 " pipe at the front of the block under the Throttle body. That will give you something to do while you wait for the leg.:bounce:

heh, I was just teasing.....for some reason though, I had it in my head that the shifter came with a 5spd knob. No big deal, cause now I can have an excuse to do something custom......

If we were to ever get an FJ60 calendar together, that shot of 3 blue 60s at one house would have to go in it. That's awesome.

It really is looking great. I can't wait to see it when it's done. I bet you can't wait Mr. Zero.

I have been trying to get all the rig's I have worked on in one place but my place isn't big enough. Maybe the park one day when everyone gets together for a cruiser meet.:bounce: But it sure makes a pretty picture!!

updates?

I like this thread

Alot :D

When you get everything working including A/C and have some time to drive it around , let "us" know what kind of engine temp you are experiencing this summer? The last post I saw was where you had both the clutch fan and the electric fan installed? I assume you'll run just the dual electric fan? Anyway I wanted to know how the A/C worked and if you could stay under 210F under all operational conditions?

OK since the old engine is heavier we have picked up a couple inches on the front end. This will be corrected with a set of heavy rears. On the front we have 38" and on the rear we have 36" not much of a difference if you don't mind the squat look.

I should have it at the hose shop the first of the week So once that is done I will be able to put it through the paces and get you all a good status report. The drive line is out and being lenghtened. I just have a few things to tie up and she should be ready. The new rims are near finished but I can't post those pics up until I have new rubber on them....:flipoff2:

Kline...When you doing yours?

Maybe when I can convince my Dad. He likes the cruisa though. He bought it new in '84.

I have the v8 bug.

maybe next summer. when my dads house might be finished. overdue by like 2 months now...

Do like I did my dad...I tore apart his 68 Camaro and made him start on it. He would never wrench because he did it all day long. So give it a shot.:grinpimp:
