Shoot me an email @ rsuttles@aerospaceprocessing.com or my home email waltersuttles@msn.com I will get you the list for the conversion parts. Yes the drive train holds up very well and have had no problems with it. The mileage should be close to what the factory setup was running. around 20 mpg going with the 5 speed is a must for highway cruisin though. You can use a 700R4 but everyone is different. And I work them first in first out and do one at a time. Hope you get the bug.

If you don't mind sharing the parts list for the engine swap. If you have one for a 350 vortec I would like to get a copy. Email me at elbertclarke@bellsouth.net I have the engine, but I've yet to get the wiring harness, swap kit "bellhousing" and other misc parts. Had to spend some $$ on other things that have gotten in the way.

I sent you a PM.

It's on the way and as stated if you want to beat the EPA guy's and get better mileage I go VORTEC:grinpimp: Not to mention the horsepower:flipoff2::bounce::flipoff2::bounce2:

Her is the new Mistress in a SWEET new look

Sorry to everyone who has been following the thread. I have been tied up at work and trying to get all the little things out of the way on the Mistress. I hope everyone enjoys the following pic's...The A/C shop is the last stop other than a state inspection. So here she is...:grinpimp:

Last 1

Ok here's the last pic and I am scheduled to deliver her next weekend. I will be driving her a little bit to make sure all the bugs are out and that she is fully road worthy but 0-65 so far is pretty damn quick:grinpimp:

If MrZero has no objections I would like to take her to the Cruiser meet to show her off...Because the force is strong in this young one!!

thats soo badass! by the way i have a descendents sticker on my 60 aswell haha "everything sucks"

Read the whole thread. IMPRESSIVE is all I can say. Thanks for sharing.

the RKBA sticker is the best! Right to Keep and Bear Arms?

This thread is going to cause me to spend large quantities of money. The hated Chevy in a Toyota seemd like blasphemy at first, now I find myself coveting the Vortec Mod. :o

That's what I am talking about!! The Vortec will give you what you have been looking for and it is more than you could want for the truck. If you need persuading just ask the forum what they think!! BTW I am originally from WA. Sure miss it and good luck on the swap.

Driving report

Took her out for a mild wheel last night...No loud bangs or pops...Lots of power and climbs without stalling or complaint. So I will have to clean her up again but I couldn't resist:bounce::flipoff2:

Is it a for sure change? I read the post on the chapter site and nobody had said for sure. I will be there either way. Still busy up there? Mark was inquiring about the Dana you had.. May drop him a line.

Got busted looking at this last night while I was supposed to be putting away laundry. Oops, what can I say.

Looks like it has come out great. My 5.3 is in my garage, I am just refueling my bank account for the onslaught of parts to buy....

Chad has it, call him, he's not far from you at all work or home either........

:confused:I reckon I should have shipped the damn thing, but I figure I got as much time to ship as you do to pick it up......:grinpimp::grinpimp::flipoff2::flipoff2:

I will bring it to the meeting.

Chad

Get ready for the parts because they have a ton of stuff that can make it look and run pretty!! Be wise and know what you want before you get the JEG'S catalog. And much appreciate it Chad I just can't get a break.

Excellent Job Iaintscared

i would just like to say that you really did an excellent job on this project, being a mechanic myself doing this for 18 years its seldom that you see ppl to take there job over and betond in pursuit of perfection.i wish that when my 2f goes south i'll be able to get some pointers from you on this project.most defenitely that it'll be a vortec engine.it would be nice if i could find somebody in my neck of the woods that would help me out when the time comes.i can honestly admit that i'm no welder or fabricator,so i'll be needing the help of some good welder fabricator.i think mr. zero should give you a fat bonus on this one,(just a suggestion) it would be nice though.again you really did a good job.:bounce::bounce2::beer: john
