Got 15.2 driving from Moab to Silverthorne, CO in May.

High elevation, slightly jetted down primary, timing advanced +/- 14 degrees on the stock 2F with about 75,000 miles.

Im kind of a carb guy, but Im still surprised that it is that efficient.

I seem to get about the same as most: 12-13 mpg. Mine is sniper on 1F engine that seems to make more power than it should with 4 speed and 33’s. I actually bumped up about .5 mpg last tank because I realized my hubs have been locked in all the time. I’m with the fly fisher on this one, I track my mileage mostly to know if something is going wrong

Newly rebuilt 2F. Non US OE Aisin clone carb.
32" tires. Original 3.7 diff gearing.

I get 12-13 in town and just over 15 mpg on the highway running 60-65mph.

Back in the day, that was one of the three things you never asked. That and how much did it cost and I can't remember the third.
I kept track once, on the way from Pismo to Sacramento, almost made it on one tank.
These days i don't drive on the freeway if i can help it. I know i can make it through the Rubicon on one tank.
Running 4.88 diffs behind double transfer cases and an SM465. On 37s. Behind a mostly 2F with a 74 carb. Not really caring about MPG...
