Moving to Utah

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've accepted a job in Utah and will be moving out there shortly. Maybe I'll be the only UC member on the West Coast. I can't tell you how amazed I am to see how active and large the club is now considering that we only started with about six members. I'll definitely be making it back out this way every now and then. With that said I will probably be putting the 40 up for sale soon as I think I'm going to look for a west coast 45 lwb. I'll be around the area for another month or so travelling back and forth before I become a permanent resident of Utah. Maybe I'll be able to meet up with some of you in Moab.

Utah has incredible backcountry. Two areas I got to check out in college but didn't have enough time to really explore were Zion National Park in the SW and High Uintas Wilderness Area in the NW (the highest point in Utah, Kings Peak is there)...

good luck to you man. I stopped in Utah when I drove out to washington. there is a really nice lake in the NE corner on the idaho border....bear lake. check it out if you have time.

Hey bud, yeah me and Mike stopped by Bear Lake and had some rasberry ice cream at that little stand. We went by there on the way to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone about 2 years ago. I can't wait to go visit him when he moves....haha.
