i know in order to get the automatic to fit i should move the engine forward. i'm low on equipment and cash. so if i had it towed and the engine moved, how much should i figure on spending? and i should move it forward and to the passenger side, right? and how much space will i save if i go with electric fan(s)?

Get the auto, bolt it and see where you need to move it if any. You are long on project if you are short on money and equipement
