its stored outside on the side of the mountain at 7600' or so. i go to my place 4 or 5 times a year. so traps are not going to work. i will try the sheets, peppermint oil and a few bars of irish spring. thanks for the ideas.

I only see one problem with using moth balls, I'm not so sure I could stand my Land Cruiser smelling like my grandmothers houseEnoz mothballs.
Empty coke can with perforations. Fill it with mothballs. Place one or more under the hood, on top of spare, etc. Make sure you still have your seal at the rear of the hood.
On a 100+ degree day and a errand it is impressive.
