" Hey Steffan,

Here is some feedback from Paul about the rack ...

The FR rack is 2 meters for $1193, and our Prado 120 2 meter rack is available for $1225. So rack for rack, the K9 is only $30 more. The 2.2 meter K9 is 8" longer and $1325, so $130 more. However, there is so much more value in our offering over the Slimline II model at either size.

The K9 Rack is a fully welded platform, in comparison to the bolted together Slimline. Over time, the welded rack will outperform the bolted together construction.

The K9 Rack is also lighter than the Slimline and has a lower profile (1-3/8" vs. 2"). The K9 Rack is stronger. The front to back and side to side matrix of extrusions combine to make a much stronger platform than simple side to side bars.

The K9 Rack also generates less wind noise on the vehicle as speed. The semi-eliptical design of the cross braces and the front to back slat extrusions create less surface area and slots for the wind to catch, which translates to a more quiet ride.

The K9 Rack offer 5 feet per side. A foot for every cross brace on the platform. The Slimline only supports the front/middle/back of the basket. The K9 Rack is completely flat, vs. the 20mm lip you have to overcome if putting a tent on top. We have a complete line of accessories for the K9 rack as well, and we also offer free shipping.

There is a lot more to it than price.

If you're like to talk about the rack further, or have more questions for Paul, free feel to send him an email at *deted email* Keep in mind he's in South Africa at the moment so responses time might take a tad bit longer than when he's in the office in SLC. However, our warehouse team is still process and shipping out orders daily!

Hope that helps and let us know if you need anything else.

Cheers!"

I'm impressed, man. You've got a great rack it seems. Front Runner must have raised the price on theirs right after I bought it. It was less than $1100 when I purchased it. When I read their comments about the price I thought they were wrong but I checked FR's site and it has gone up. Glad I bought it when I did.

This TJM 10,000 lb winch came one. Visually looks high quality.

Can't wait for my lift to come in so I can get some work done.

Some progress today with the ironman setup, went with new enc rotors and pads while I was at it. Need to wrap up the brakes on the FL, still got all the FR to do.

Got the bumpers on today. I was kind of regretting my decision to color match them, but now that everything is mounted I love it. I will post some pictures in the morning.

@THeGeNTLeMaN @SouthernSS what is this piece for?

Did I do this correct?
