Can you just slap some 1/4 spacers between the winch and the mount?
Yeah I'd put a couple blocks uner it and raise up the winch. That's interesting that the TJM winch won't fit. It was one of the winches I was considering

I think this is the simplest option, but.... When the cable draws out I THINK the fair lead hole will be too low. the issues is the synthetic rope would hit the sharp steel of the bumper rather than the smooth fair lead. Now the hole on the fair lead is smaller than the hole on the bumper, but I have check for sure this would be the case.
@Mountain first off Im sorry your having an issue with the fitment of your winch Iv never seen or heard of anyone having this issue ... it seems to be a unique issue with the winch you have chosen to use ... the design of the bumper was to be as universally winch friendly as possible as most are within a pretty standard dimension size ...
That being said I don't see where cutting a rectangle hole in the area where it is touching would cause any issues in strength or structurally. .. but I would hate for you to do have to do that to make it work ...
If spacING or shimming up the winch slightly will solve your issue. .. I will personally make you a shim with the correct hole spacing and thickness needed and ship it to you ...
If you could do your part to figure out how much spacing is needed to make it work...
and I would also suggest making sure your not taking away too much thread length from your winch bolts ... Replacing the bolts with a sufficient length accordingly ... let us know what we can do to help![]()
Like I said before, you have a great product and customer service!
I don't think at all you could plan for every situation. I am going to mock it up and see if raising the winch is viable, if so I will definitely take you up on the custom spacer, but I would gladly pay for the shipping and any other cost! I will get back to you later in the week and thanks for the support!
