Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

@Clickws is this your lx. If so, how do you like the hpl fluids? I have been on the fence about ordering

It’s really good stuff. They are really knowledgeable folks. I found them through Real St and their awesome Supra engine tear downs and rebuilds on YouTube. They do a tour and sold me on giving it a try.

One of their engineers has entertained a ton of my questions. He’s been in the industry a LONG time and was part of the group that brought royal purple into prominence.

I’ve used their PCMO. You can smell and feel the difference. I haven’t tasted it yet. Ha.

Trying to make some sense out of the below charts. They have been mostly or generally in line with market trends in recently, but this is a big dip. Keep hearing about major whole sale price reductions that have not been getting passed to consumers at the retail end, maybe that's why.

Some sort of anomaly on the 2013 graph to cause the April-June price jump.
2015 appears pretty accurate IMO.
And 2013s should trend a few thousand below the 2015s.

The new Landcruiser reveal, along with few other factors , probably contributed to the slightly steeper month over month drop from August to September.

Who picked up the black ‘16 200 w/120kish out of Boerne for $44k? I’ve never dealt with a more inept salesman than I dealt with trying to purchase that vehicle, I finally got frustrated and gave up…

Overlay a chart with gas prices. That should answer your question. $3.80 gas on truck that gets an honest 12mpg in the city is hard on resale.

Reserve not met.

Unbelievable amount of cheerleading.
The cheerleading is interesting. At least this one had real bidders. Price is high for miles.

Everything before 2019 and some 2020 NEW LC200 came with ~10% off MSRP. Desperate to sell them.

Cars will return to reality before homes do, but both are F**KED.

Anytime you hear "last of the V8", "they don't make these anymore", "rare", "you won't find another one like this", and so on, just know you're likely about to get ripped off if you proceed.

Those comments are just sales lines to drive sales.
"You won't find another one like this" = There are plenty others like this.

Purchased new 2021 LC200 from dealer Dec 2020. List $87.8K paid $79.3K or ~ 9.68% off MSRP.
I think a lot of 2021's were still selling for ~10% off MSRP too.

Once COVID lockdowns happened this wasn't the case. At least in most markets. Especially with the HE.
