Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Seemed like there has been more price drops than usual lately by dealers, I took a quick look at few sites and it does look like it.

Some at a really good pace too. I guess a lot of buyers will be deciding to jump in or wait for more price drops.
Mediocre condition and poor maintenance records of the cars for sale leave a lot to be desired.

As a data point, I just paid $91,766 for a CPO 2021 model with 19k miles. I bought from a dealer in Auburn, Alabama. The truck arrived last night. It actually still looks and smells new.

I was shopping in a narrow band (19-21 models, less than 30k, with terra interior, from a state without road salt). I also found a surprising number with aftermarket lifts and wheels, which I didn't want to deal with on such a new vehicle. In one case, they had actually cut the bumper skin and rocker panel.

Overall I think this was a fair price in the current market. This truck pegs the high water mark of Land Cruisers, being one of the last made, in near-new shape, with very few miles. The exceptions to this are the Heritage Editions, which command a premium of several thousand dollars, and those with extensive mods from credible shops.

I looked at a very similar truck from a private seller, who told me he paid $105k for it last year. As best I can tell, we're off the madness of last year's chipflationdemic bubble pricing, into more rational territory. I have no illusion that this will go up in value. However, I plan to keep this for 10 years, so 'buying right' meant a really clean truck at a fair price.

Dealers are cleaning up inventory for year end accounting. Usually August and September are the big sell-off months but a lot of vehicles are already recovering from the past month's sell-off dip. Growing new car inventory is trying really hard to push used car prices back down but there's still a slight shortage of used inventory -- especially of the low-production, hard to find stuff.

2021 LX570 with low 20k miles Vs 2021 LC200 (Base are listed same/little more but LC200 HE with 40K+ miles seems to be listed even more). Was LX produced more than LC, resulting in lower price? LC200 interior looks nice a simple compared to LX.

Still hunting for 2021 LC200 with low miles.... I wonder when the new LC250 but more so importantly when the GX550 drops, if this will help lower the asking price of LC200. I've a feeling those with low miles HE will realized they've had enough experience withe their LC and would want to try the GX550.
Hoping to get a 3rd row 2021 LC200 HE. 🤠😵🤞

Far fewer LCs made than LX570s.

People keep saying the 250 Prado will bring down the LC200 price. I don't think it will honestly, at least those that know what they're looking for. Last of the V8 and more robust than the 250. But maybe I'm living in a pipe dream.

I think the 250 will bring a lot of new entrants to the platform, rather than seeing a bunch of people jump ship from their 200s.

I test drove the Magnetic Grey LC HE w/3rd row and 41k miles here in Littleton, CO and it is super clean. 1 owner, good service history, no accidents. Higher miles than I want, but seeing if the dealership will work out a deal with me (last day of the month 🤞🏼) 30 days on the lot, currently at $89k, looking to be at $85k or lower. I have not seen many HE’s especially grey with that high of mileage so not sure what would be overpaying for this, anyone with an opinion would love to hear it.

For what it’s worth, they wouldn’t budge from the $89k price at all, even end of month, 30 days on lot. Similar one, black, 47k miles has been on a dealer lot for almost 6 months and dropped to $85k. I feel like 83k would be the price I would consider this to be a legit deal.

Glad you found yourself a LC .... Im still waiting for that call to discuss mine !? Kidding of course.

For those that are in the market, I have a 2021 (white over terra) with 22k miles, CPO, curb rash and door ding warranties as well... considering selling. No rust in Georgia.

From feedback in here... yall think this is a 85-90k truck at this point? Appreciate any feedback.

I would not rush. Little pricy for the amount of miles. The mania will fade and you will find more EOY to next year.

I would appreciate some feedback please.

Sorry man! My ADHD took over.

I think that's the range for yours. Trouble is that fewer data points means more volatility in pricing.

It is priced high but the interior looks good for the mileage. I would wait, EOM should be interesting to watch with the consumer.

I don’t disagree with that.

The unfortunate part is that these trucks get unfairly dinged for mileage. They get lumped in with the rest of the market that can’t handle the 300-400k mile life.

The non-cruiser heads out there, especially the older generations, are aghast when someone says they’re buying a car older than 5-10 yrs with over 100k miles.

Dealers generally don’t care about anything other than age, miles, accidents and general market desirability. They don’t even care to see the maintenance history, usually.

Someone I know bought a 2012 GMC Terrain a couple months ago with 80k miles for about $16k and thought they had hit the jackpot for such a low mile car. I don’t know about y’all but I rather have a 180k mile Toyota or Lexus that is 15-20 years old for that money.

By any chance, do you have that list of states without road salt handy?
