Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Has anyone looked at this one? Is the price good for the mileage? Thinking about taking a trip up to Ch-Iraq to see if it's worth purchasing, just thought I'd see if anyone has any insight.
What might concern me is that it was offered for sale but didn’t sell and auctioned in 2 weeks. To me that sounds like it didn’t pass the inspection. Also it spent a lot of time in salted road areas. Worth a look if you have someone take a peek and drive for you but I wouldn’t book a ticket sight unseen.

Yeah I saw that in the Carfax report as well. I actually just reached out to a salesman there, and they sent me a few videos of it up on the lift. I'm thinking hard pass!

Found a 2018 LC, CPO with 76,500* miles for $65k.

1-owner and clean CarFax,
Basic maintenance show, i.e. oil changes, tire rotations, brakes but no major service listed.

Seems an OK price in todays market.

Thoughts? Any things to look out for or budget for short term future maintenance?

*Corrected mileage down from 78,000 to 76,500

Won't be able to pick this up, literally across the country. But here's a 2013 LX with 97k mi in Florida, 2 owner, no accidents, and pristine maintenance history on Lexus. 39k seems to be a good price in this market for sure.

How did it go in service for 5 miles?

According to the dealer, this one was first titled as a fleet vehicle, but it didn't see much action? Haven't yet seen the entire paper trail. Toyota's warranty info says...."the vehicle’s in-service date, which is the first date the vehicle is either delivered to the original purchaser, lessor, or used as a company car or demonstration vehicle".

Okay thoughts,

I've found a 14' LX570 pushing the 120k mark for 40k. Dealer said they would cover the 1,500 120k maintenance or discount 1,500 from the price. It's pretty damn clean with one owner and all the service records. What do we think? Am I crazy? I have a 14 Tundra Platinum right now with 62 racks.

That’s about market rate here in WA or maybe a little above. And for 1 owner with good records I’d say that’s pretty good. If it is a Lexus or Toyota dealership I’d take the service over discount. Otherwise I’d take the discount because the 120k service has some very specific fluids (like transmission) that you want OEM.

I have a 2010 LX with 124k reserved for $28k. Four owners but seems well maintained on paper. Ready for me to check out in a day or two so hopefully it looks alright.

4 owners is about right for a 12 year old vehicle. I’m the 3rd owner on my 2015. As long as the oil is changed somewhat often, these trucks are very reliable.

Trying to decide how concerned to be about this entry on a '14 LX I'm looking at. Autocheck does not reveal any wrecks or damage reported, and of course dealer has no knowledge of any either.

Dealer just said that per the paint meter they use, one of the rear passenger doors, and rear fender have been repainted. Assume that is probably what is reported here. Man I hate shopping out of state, so hard to get comfortable without putting eyes on a vehicle. Price is right though.

I'm guessing this is the one at Meade Lexus. I was considering that one. I'm in Columbus, OH and just wrapped up a deal on a 2014, 107k miles, for $41k at local Lexus dealership here, it was clean and had solid history of maintenance at this lexus dealership, very minimal underbody surface. I also got them to change all the fluids as well. I'm probably overpaying but there just isn't any inventory out there. I did well on the car I just sold privately, so it didn't matter to me that much. I used to live in GR a couple years ago before I moved to Columbus. So your price seems good to me assuming it all checks out.

Looking at a 2011. Here is the underside. Under 100k miles for 42k. Should I run or can this be taken care of with wire wheel and some por 15? TIA.

Doesnt look too bad from these pics. If the frame is decent I'd say try to negotiate some. How is the service history?

Have the dealer run a Carfax if they havent already done so.

Has anyone else had experience with AutoNation? Not only are they no haggle (which is fine, the price is great), but they also DO NOT allow PPIs? My guess is that they don't want to be negotiated down on price and they use the their 5 day/250 mi "money back guarantee" as the leverage. Except that's an actual PITA and requires me to find all the problems within 5 days.

Honestly if it wasn't for the price and the market, I would have walked a long time ago. The CarFax is pretty solid from the last owner and photos show it to be in great condition. The Lexus Driver website doesn't have anything too concerning, although I'm guessing I'll have to replace rear brakes and power steering fluid soon. And it needs a driver side folding mirror motor. They did not do front/rear/transfer case/transmission fluids at 120k. But all the crazy stuff I can't check for until AFTER purchase, which is a bit ridiculous IMO.
  • Coolant valley leak
  • Water pump leak
  • Radiator leak
  • AHC leak

EDIT: Bought it! 2010 LX with 124k on the odometer for $28k. Will take it for inspection tomorrow. Drives fantastic and is pristine on the inside - literally can go another 10 years no problem.
