Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Seems about market price. Not sure if Kansas uses salt or not but maybe get some pictures of the frame. FWIW for comparison I put a deposit on a 2013 LC with 69k mi for $47,750 and will be picking it up tomorrow.

There's also this one in Abilene, TX. 2 owner, texas vehicle, with a minor accident, good maintenance history. Looks good in pictures too.

what do you guys think of this truck:

2018 texas truck
one owner
123k miles
maintenance done every 10k miles till 84k miles then no record until 123k when sold.
minor sideswipe on carfax.
asking $54500

miles seems high for 2018 but price probably would be good due to high miles.

I think if your patient you could do much better. The key is patience, extreme patience if you can handle it.

I passed on quite a few that were pretty similar to what you're looking at above, then I found mine in AZ
2016, One owner, Same dealership purchased/traded in for 2021, No accidents
46k miles, $55.5k

I'm very glad I waited

Kansas does not use salt.

How much of a price premium does a land cruiser have over the LX? I found a 2008 LX570 and a 2008 Land cruiser. The cruiser has 30k less miles and asking price is $6k more than the LX. Preference would be the land cruiser, all things equal but not opposed to the AHC, especially as it can be removed far down the road if it breaks.

It's normally 3-4K, but in this market, it's anyone's guess.

Kansas does not use salt.
I'm sorry but that is not true. I live on the SW side of KC and we see it all of the time.

Quick Google search : Last winter, KDOT used 123,000 tons of road salt on Kansas roads, the most in five years. “Particularly in Kansas, where you can mine salt out of the ground,” he said, “salt is the most cost-effective way.”

Thoughts on a 2011 LX black on black with every option except PCS. Has 65k miles, clean carfax. Truck is mint, has some minor surface rust underneath nothing crazy. They wont budge off 35k. I was trying to do some research but couldnt find a comparable.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me. I paid only $5k less for my '11 LC in September of last year and it had literally 100,000 more miles on it than that one.

Thoughts on a 1-owner, clean, full service history 2014 LX570 w/ Lux package, 90k miles for $40k? No rust from what I can tell.

Was talking to a dealer about an executive (corporate demo, not dealer demo) 2021 HE in grey.
They sold it to someone else for $2k under MSRP.
Never titled, so technically new, but it had 7000 miles!

If you're looking to buy new, inventory (and deals) seems to be drying up. Not many wanting to come off list price. They know they will get it eventually.

Dealership in Milford Mass is advertising $8k off 4 new land cruisers, *edit* 3 were heritage. Note to self, turn off my price alerts.

These guys were a bunch of shady jokers. I called and they confirmed the price on the phone, but when I asked for an emailed proposal, they came back at MSRP only.

I contacted them as well - won’t honor online price, MSRP only but if I come in this week they’ll knock $350 off :flipoff2:
Legally they cannot do this. Something about something my lawyer wife says. 🤷🏻‍♂️ legal mumbo jumbo

Hey it’s not your fault, just a scummy business practice. I always appreciate the leads!!
+1. Appreciate any leads I can get. It’s tough out there right now despite pretty wide availability.

I’m always amazed at the scams and silliness that goes on when I’m on the hunt for a new vehicle. I know there are some dealers and salespeople who are on the up and up, but it always seems to take me forever to find them.
