Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Should we consider adding some of these 200's to Vinwiki. If we added enough Vinwiki could be viable for Land Cruiser owners

The dealer has relisted this 200. I recommend you gents steer clear of this one as I’ve seen it in person. BLUF is it has a lot of paintwork.

I looked at this earlier today, it looked extremely clean to me in spite of the reported paint work on the hood.

Looks like a nice truck at a pretty average price. Nothing about it suggests it would fly off the market, not sure how long it has been listed.

@mcgaskins is the 200 series pricing wizard. He is better than KBB so I'd listen to his opinion before mine :)

Yah, it’s been on carguru for 65 days. Not exactly flying off the lot.

I'm a used car dealer/wholesaler by trade. Not all cars sell within a short window. I have cars that sit on the lot for 3 days, I've had cars sit on my lot for 9 months. Just because its not selling fast doesn't mean it s a bad car. All it means is that the right buyer hadn't come along yet.

Last owner for a year, price only ok.

This one seams a little high no? Lexus LX 570

Have you communicated with the seller? I'm assuming the pricing has to do with the MaxCare warranty. If purchaser doesn't want the warranty, the seller can get the warranty cost pro-rated back to them. I'm guessing given the time and miles left on the warranty, that'd be somewhere near a couple grand, which reduced from the vehicle's price would make it reasonable.

Not yet. 46k seemed a bit high for an LX WITH 60k+ miles. I like the idea of being able to ride out the warranty though and have heard good things about maxcare. That is going to be tough sell on Craigslist so I might see if he’ll do lower. Any recommendations on where this should be?

I bought my 2014 with 84K Miles from CarMax in March this year for $41K, the 4 yr / 150K MaxCare warranty which is thru The Warranty Group was another $2.8K. With the warranty included and only 63K miles the $46K seems resonable.
I had mine sent from San Diego CarMax to Denver, it was originally purchased at Lexus San Diego. The undercarriage looks almost new.

NADA is about $45K for 2014 w/ 63K miles, a good gauge but this would be Dealer Retail, private party would normally be lower, but then adding in the warranty I think $46K is fair
