Thanks to Alan, Marshall, Alex, JP, Gehn, and David for comin out to the Chateau to work on the blue beast. I think we all found out that no matter how much preperation you do there is always something that is gonna slow ya down. The Tcase came to a hault when we took a closer look at the bearings and found out they were a little too gone to put back in. The bell housing was another long process of switching those out, but with diligence and persistance we got that done along with a new rear main seal and pilot bearing. The axle looks almost brand new after the crew cleaned it all up...you could eat off of that thing once I put a coat of pain on there....gotta smooth out one of the insides of the knuckles and it''ll be ready to put back together. And Marshall helped me put in my new water heater..nice to take a shower again. Plus the dreary ass weather didn't help any...but I believe that all of the prep work has been done, once I get new bearings for the tcase it'll go together in about 5 minutes and hook it back to the tranny and in it'll go into the bellhousing. Then rebuild the axle and it'll be able to rock and roll. It is true the prep always takes the longest. But thanks to all of you guys...we put in a lot of hard work and thanks for all of the tools..made it a lot easier. Thanks, Chuck

Like I said, you guys are lucky to be so close to each other.

Congrats on another successful HAMOTM.

Hope to see the 40 soon Chuck!!

Any updates Chuck? Got pics?
Who is next?

Richard is next. It's time to get the Pig running.

I'm saving the normal pics for the towhook news letter. But I give you the pic that by far was the funniest.

I think the thing your referring to would be JP. As for my turn next month I hope to have the pig running prior to that since I have my carb back now and I usually have 1 or 2 days a week to work. As of right now I'm thinking about power steering, other options would include the long list of little things I have on my wall, and shackle revearsal.

Knome at work?

JP made me think of that garden knome with that cap.
Was that taken before or after the gas cans were removed
from the range of sparks from Alex grinding off perches. ;)
That had to be some kind of first. Coverting SOA to SUA.
Just when I think I've seen it all......
Kudos my friends.

Alex and I for sure aren't gonna win any beauty contest:grinpimp:
Without JP it just wouldn't be a party. And he created foot burgers too! Those from the ground up. No pun intended.
