I will be installing a split kit in my rig.

Full carpet front back and cargo and then a vinyl section for the cargo floor area.

Part of the carpet kits arrived, looks like Monday on the remaining pieces. Have a few of each color and will start getting these out ASAP!

The brown is a flatter and darker brown than my cut and sewn kit is, which I like even better. The charcoal is VERY close in color to the OEM grey sample I have. Fit from what I can tell so far is spot on. The molded carpet rolls over the humps in the floor pan.

According to my supplier they use the same kit on all 60,61 and 62 series-- '80-'90.

Thanks, J. If your vendor is who I think it is, I got into an e-mail kerfluffle with them a couple of years ago over their refusal to acknowledge that there is a difference in floor pans between the years.

I'm eager to see some install pictures from '86-'90 owners. Hopefully the vinyl looks as good as the carpet sets.

Basically they said that the mold was modified to work with both. I'm dealing with a company in Perth, AU. They don't have a website. Which troubled me at first, but was refered to them by a few other overseas contacts that have used them (continually) or seen their product in person. They only have access to a few molds. Sounds like 3-5 man operation, maybe smaller. I like their communication and the service and product have been spot on.

You've worked with me and know that I'm a stickler for communication.

I pulled over 9 AU carpet companies. A few of the bigger ones had automated "help" desks and I got half of an answer every time I inquired on something. Other than communicating at 8PM to 2AM... I've been impressed with this company so far.

The carpet kits I have are boxed and tracking is sent to all buyers.

They all ship Monday.

I will get the other sets out as soon as they are delivered. (3 of those boxes are arch repair panels...)
