Time to start gathering the odds and ends. I will be needing the following parts for my 1964 FJ40 FST refresh project. Parts would need to be shipped to Eugene, OR (97405), or close enough for local pickup.

• Spare tire carrier hinges. Must be early style as pictured below. Have later style to trade if interested.
• Rear frame rail for E-67 (see picture below). Will consider '68-73 if price is good. Buying new.
• Speedo cable Buying new.
• Jack handle (don't need correct '64 style, just one that will work with the jack from an FJ80)
• Lug wrench for the larger 23mm lug nuts (pre-Aug '63 build)
• Fuel filler neck shield
• Inside mirror (early 2 hole style)
• One tin-cup style master cylinder, either clutch or brake
• Interior room (Vader) light switch
• Door travel stops
• Bib hinge
• Inspection light power socket
• Jack

I will be attaching example pictures to this thread of some of the bits shortly.

Thanks for any help!

I've got some leads on a few of these items, will update the list above as each is tied down. Still several items with no leads so far.

@65swb45 - Thanks, Mark. I'm going to be pulling the front axle apart shortly, will undoubtedly need some bits there. If I haven't found anything closer (something I could drive to get would be better than paying the ride on something the size of this), we can chat about it.

I just saw the Vader switch you need on Ebay for $40 but it looks like you already located one. Martin

Ill get everything put together in the next day or so I did find the speedo cable I will shoot you pictures of everything before friday

If you're still looking for the rear piece. Looks to be solid and not welded on. I'm right down the road from you... Kinda.

Jack located, not '64 correct, but still Toyota. It's from an FJ80.

But it doesn't have a handle, so I still need that. Edited the initial list above.

Is the speedometer cable different than the three speed cable up to when they added the in line speed sensor? Believe I seen a few I purchased used and possible a couple NOS in the bags. That was a couple weeks ago at the cabin. Because of current state of the forest and possible fire been hauling parts out of the area. May have grabbed the used ones that were still in mailing envelopes. Box with NOS parts believe is still there.

A working jack handle should be easy. The late tube style is probably still sold new. The rod changed lengths over the years but the dimension of the sqaure end stayed the same.

What did you end up doing for the rear frame member? Seen it wasn't in the list of parts located or still wanting anymore.
