Looking at doing the mini truck conversion.

I have a 1971 FJ40 with fairly new 4.56 differentials and Yukon air lockers built by Marlin Crawler. Since the axle is stock (except disc brakes) I believe it is then coarse spline. I confirmed that the knuckles are the stock knuckles as I measured the steering arm bolt patterns. If I went forward with the mini truck knuckles and do not want to change out my differential can I do that?

Is it possible to use my stock inner axle shafts and use the fine spline birfields to fit the mini truck hubs? I have the mini truck knuckles and I believe that I can buy all the other parts.

The PO installed the disc brakes. The calipers appear to be Monte Carlo. Would those brakes fit the mini truck knuckles or would I have to find mini truck brakes?

You can use your inner axles. Your knuckles out and brakes will be Toyota. You'll have to grind the inner lip of the ball to fit the larger birfields. Cruiser Outfitters sells knuckle rebuild kits. I installed the Marlin inner axle seals.

With a front locker it is not a good idea to keep the stock inner axle shaft , get some chromo shaft like rcv or longfield .
For the knuckle, disc and caliper, look for 79-84 fj40 or 60 series , those are vented ,the mini is not.
The gm caliper is good for the rear disc conversion forget it for the front
