It doesn’t pull amazingly well. You are correct….i pull it with my 200. The M1101 has the same wheels as the LC (2018 LC200 wheels) and Michelin tires. At lower speeds it is bouncy and you can tell it’s back there. At highway speeds it is mostly fine. Mine also still has the pintle so I’m wondering if I changed that to a ball receiver of that would ‘tighten’ it up. I’ve read that if it is loaded it will tow better bc they are pretty light but I’ve never had a full load. Probably the most weight I’ve had in it is a few hundred pounds. Timbren makes some different axles you can put on them but after contacting Timbren I wasn’t going to spend the extra coin for something I don’t use that much. My goal is to still put a RTT on it I just haven’t gotten one yet. If you are ever around Asheville and want to pull mine to see how it tows let me know and we can arrange it. They are definitely bulletproof.

I appreciate the offer man. My guess is I’ll probably long before I can get out your way. I have a potential line up on two of them for under a G. Which seems like a great deal I just haven’t seen these m1101’s take off yet as an overland trailer..(yet)

Lots of overlanders using them. Under $1,000 is a good deal. There is a group on Facebook that does all kind of small and large builds with them. I bought a rack off Amazon for mine…still need to mount it, but the dimensions worked out and it is way cheaper than the super expensive ones out there made for the M1101.

Ok one more question for ya. Would you rather the larger m1101 or the m101a2/3? About the same weight but the m1101 has a higher payload capacity and is aluminum vs steel.

I’m not very familiar with that one. I can move the M1101 by myself bc it is relatively light and moves easily.
